Cornwall Today

Since June 2010 Alex Wade has been the Acting Editor of award-winning regional glossy Cornwall Today. Alex took over from Kirstie Newton, the incumbent editor, when she went on maternity leave.

Alex had written for Cornwall Today since November 2007, when he became the magazine's Art Editor. Since becoming Acting Editor, Alex has introduced a themed-issue strategy to the magazine, with editions covering surfing (August 2010), eco issues (September 2010), Christmas (December 2010) and food (March 2010). Additional themes will be explored before Alex hands over to Kirstie in summer 2011. Alex continues to work as the magazine's Art Editor at the same time as being its Acting Editor, and will continue in this role for the forseeable future.
